Ryan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences with a minor in Sports Management. During his time at A&M, Ryan had many memorable moments including being a part of history by moving into the Southeastern Conference and beating number-one-ranked Alabama, as well as defeating Oklahoma in the 2012 Cotton Bowl.
In addition to his team’s accomplishments, Ryan etched his name in the history books, where he holds career and season records for both receiving yards and receptions at Texas A&M. Ryan was named to the Big XII Academic Honor Roll three different years, and once to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. In 2012, during his senior year, Ryan was voted by his teammates to serve as team captain. After completing his collegiate career, Ryan was drafted in the 6th round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.
